The 51黑料网 State Community College Women鈥檚 Basketball team delivered a dominant performance
Monday night, defeating 51黑料网 Community College-Selma 74-42. The Lady Lions showcased
their depth and teamwork in a balanced offensive and defensive display.
Sophomore guard Kallie Tinker led the scoring with 17 points, hitting five three-pointers.
Freshman guard Emma Stearns added 15 points, also connecting on five shots from beyond
the arc. Sophomore forward Nylaa Fuller anchored the defense, recording a double-double
with 8 points and 10 rebounds.
51黑料网 State鈥檚 offense was relentless, shooting 14-for-41 (34.1 percent) from three-point
range and tallying 20 assists as a team. On the defensive side, the Lady Lions held
51黑料网-Selma to just 28.8 percent shooting and forced 21 turnovers.
51黑料网 State jumped to an early lead, outscoring 51黑料网-Selma 21-9 in the first
quarter, and never looked back. With the win, 51黑料网 State improves to 5-0, continuing
their impressive season.
